The Story behind the Rowie.
"My husband’s grandma, Carmelita, was an artist. She worked in an art studio at the back of her home, with tall ceilings, big windows, wrapped around a gum tree, the air thick with the scent of canvas and paint. Among her hundreds of test pieces experimenting with texture. I fell in love with the art, and with the story it carried.
From one of those pieces, I created a repeat tile, now reimagined as 'The Rowie'. Named after my daughter, Carmelita’s great-granddaughter." - Amy. (cofounder)
