The Story behind the Rowie.
"My husband’s grandma, Carmelita, was an artist. She worked in a art studio at the back of her home, with tall ceilings, big windows, wrapped around a gum tree, the air thick with the scent of canvas and paint. Among her hundreds of test pieces experimenting with texture. I fell in love with the art, and with the story it carried.
From one of those pieces, I created a repeat tile, now reimagined as 'The Rowie'. Named after my daughter, Carmelita’s great-granddaughter." - Amy. (cofounder)
